It was Just another monotonous Thursday with long working hours. Finishing the stuffs..She took out the key , zipped her bag and went down stairs where she had parked her Activa !!
After the three failed attempts of self start .. she kick-started it And headed towards her room . It was raining outside ... but she chose not to wait and since it was just the onset of the monsoon.. she didn't have the raincoat !!
She was hell exhausted .. couldn't use her brain much.. but tea would never be a bad idea for her !!
She turned right , rode past the city bus (the most irritating vehicle which won't let you overtake and won't run fast either ) She slowed down.. parked her Activa at the corner of a tea stall and asked for a
"single Cut-Chai "..
" Madam aapki chai " !! She held the upper portion of the tiny-tea glass with her thumb and index finger !!
"Thank you bhaiya " ... She smiled in gesture .
The Rain had stopped by now . She sat at a wet wooden bench, carefully shifting towards no nail area of the bench .. and looked at her mud stained white legging !! "Oh god this rain ".. She sighed but cared not to touch her cloths !!
"2 Cut chai " !!
"Ji sir " !!
she turned her head.. and saw a tall attractive clean shaved guy probably with her girlfriend !! He parked his Yamaha R15 Just beside her activa.. and took two glasses of tea from the man and came to the bench where his girl was sitting..!! During her second view, she saw both the glasses were still in his hands..and he gave it to her after a while , Surely because it was warm.
"How sweet of him . How lucky the girl is!! It's exactly the kind of pamper I always fantasized about .Just wow ."
Am I cursed to never taste this love ?? Will someone ever do this for me ? " She thought to herself .
The couple was having some soothing conversation which was audible but she didn't hear much.
She was on the verge of finishing her tea.
Flicks of wet hair touched her cheeks ...she took them back behind the ears time to time !!
"2 cut chai " said a girl ..
She saw an innocent girl in her teenage had come to the stall with her father. She was carrying a plastic transparent file.. which displayed 'Migration certificate' . She figured out clearly that the girl must have come over for the admission in some college . She was busy talking to her father about the cut-offs .. colleges & counselling . The girl seemed tensed and worried but her braces enhanced her beauty everytime she smiled .
The smell of water soaked wooden bench , the aura of the surrounding , the weather , the flaring branches of trees all around & the smell of ginger coming from the container where they make tea compelled her to order one more tea and so she did !!
Again..after few minutes a voice was heard ..
" 2 cut chai " a bold voice .
"Ji bhaiya.. abi de rahe" man replied !!
And there appeared another young couple...all she noticed was the anger on their faces.. they were shouting at each other & their choice of words will do no good if mentioned here. They left before even finishing their tea.. !!
She felt pity for them... How come some issues wash away the feelings people have for each other.. !! Is there no peaceful life.. when you put the set-up box of your happiness in someone else or in some circumstances ??
She thought deeply & kept summing up the pros and cons of different relationships and situations that drive the human being !!
She took out 10 rupees note from her blue leather wallet and struggled a bit for searching two rupees coin for they charge 6 rs. for 1 tiny-tea glass .
Life is not incomplete.. when you are single.. for she lives her way out happily.. !!
It's not sad either when you have a partner .. she hates to admit but yeah.. the glass was warm beyond her threshold ... it would be wow if there was someone to do it for her too !!
It is too relaxing that she no longer has to roam for admission in any institute, the struggle was real back then.. but she is not lucky enough to have tea with her father in this pleasant weather !! Gone are those days... when she totally relied on Papa for everything !!
It is all about how you take different phases of life..How you make yourself happy in toughest storms and how you deal with real circumstances out of your comfort zone . Happiness is not what situation or a person brings.. it is what comes from inside !!
At any step of your life-tour ... there will be something to make you a complete, happy, meaningful soul .. and at the same time something will keep bothering you .
But life will always be balanced anyway ... !!
